Youth aged 15-21 can stay here when they are experiencing crisis in the Edmonton Metro Area.

What:

YESS is a 24/7 access for immediate and low barrier physical, mental, cultural, and emotional health supports and a safe place to seek shelter for youth aged 15-21 experiencing crisis in Edmonton.

Where: 

24/7 Shelter

They have a 16 bed shelter which is a safe and secure space to stay, providing beds, food, clothing, showers, and laundry as well as school supplies, and lunches. This is a safe space for youth and is 2SLGBTQIA+ friendly.

When: 

They also host Monday to Friday Resource and Health Hubs with physical and mental health clinics and youth supporting resources to make sure youth get the support they need and when they need it.

Resources and Programs: 

Daytime access to primary and medical health care, providing connections to housing and other resources which are now offered through the Whyte Ave Building.
